Dance of Thrones is a dance performance troupe for women of all ages and dance abilities. It is Medieval/Bellydance fusion and we use Medieval inspired music with Bellydance and Medieval dance moves. We perform at Medieval festivals. It's lots of fun. Come and join us.

There are two groups to cater for different levels of interest and skill - one group (JEWELS) is for those who can commit to weekly rehearsals (for 12 weeks at a time) do some classes in technique, and to learn the sequences) buy a costume ($150 - $300), and perform at community events such as Medieval Fayres, community events, and festivals.

The second group (FOREST MAIDENS) is for those who don't want to commit to coming to weekly dance classes and rehearsals but can attend some (70%), learn three dances with us, and perform at community festivals. You can borrow or buy your costume. A new dancer joining us would need to do some classes to learn the three existing dances. Rehearsals are free, classes are $20.

Being involved in Dance of Thrones is a great way to get fit, manage weight, tone up and strengthen muscles, meet some lovely women, and have some fun in a friendly, non-competitive and supportive atmosphere.

At present most rehearsals are on Saturday or Sunday mornings 11am - 1pm at Mortdale.
