Bellydance Kizmet offer classes in Bellydance for Beginners through to advanced performers, for real women of all ages and levels of fitness. Classes are run from 2 locations in Melbourne - Murrumbeena and Box Hill. After more than 20 years in the business, Bellydance Kizmet is one of Melbourne's longest running dance schools. It is unique in being the only school to offer a fully comprehensive range of styles- from Classical Egyptian Bellydance, to all the folkloric styles from the Middle East and the fusion American Tribal Style Bellydance. The Principal, Barbara has travelled widely for teaching, performing and study with the great names of Middle Eastern dance in the world. Her passion and love for this dance is contagious. Classes are fun, relaxed and are taught using safe dance practice while covering all aspects of the dance- technique, props, musicality, stage presence, and the history and origins of the dance. Fun, dance,fitness and flexibility are at the core, and aim to give students a deep love and understanding of this beautiful and feminine dance form, as well as opportunities to dance.
