THE DRUM CIRCLE

Djembe hand- drumming classes in a lively and supportive group setting. Enjoy creating some cool, West African rhythms for fun and fitness, for adults of all ages. Learn to play your own part together in a larger group rhythm, on hand drums and bass drums played with sticks. Djembes available for hire, while Dunduns (or bass drums) are provided free as part of the class.

Casual attendance available for Beginners and Intermediate to Advanced levels. Prices on Application.

Your Instructor, Frans Kat has had a long standing involvement with a variety of drumming styles, but since 2007 has specialized in West African Djembe rhythms. He is a patient teacher with a real passion for drumming. He has performed with a number of African style Dance & Drumming groups in South Australia.
