Hi, my name is Isabella, a postgraduate Master of Teaching (Secondary) student at UNSW specialising in English, and with undergraduate qualifications in both psychology and English. I have a first-class Honours grade in English, and have been a Dean's List recipient in 2017. 2018 and 2019 - English and teaching are my greatest passions, so I tutor to not only help my students achieve great marks, but to inspire them to love English as I do!

I've been tutoring English for almost seven years now, since I graduated high school - I attended a school ranked in the Top 50 in NSW, achieved a 90+ ATAR, and obtained a Band 6/E4 in English Advanced, English Extension 1 and English Extension 2. Over the years, I have tutored over one hundred students both independently and through tutoring companies, covering numerous texts and topics with students from kindergarten to Year 12. For HSC students in particular, I have taught a range of now-familiar elective modules, and have aided students in achieving their ATAR goals. I'm also familiar with the new HSC English syllabuses, especially for English Advanced and Extension 1.

For all students, my rate is $70/h, although in exceptional circumstances, these rates are subject to negotiation. Included in this cost is the provision of highly extensive feedback in my out-of-hours marking of your work (as to make the best use of our class time!), as well as the provision of notes and study materials. I do both home visits for students who live locally, and I offer online tutoring over both Zoom and Google Docs.
